This policy explains how NovaStack Labs LLC ("we", "us") handles information in the Khazna app for iOS and Android.

Information that stays on your device

The items you record (names, categories, values, purchase dates, rooms, serial numbers, notes), and the photos and receipts you add, are stored in Khazna's private storage on your device. We never receive them and have no way to see them.

• Camera and photos: Khazna asks for access only when you choose to add a photo. The pictures you take or pick are copied into the app. Khazna doesn't read the rest of your photo library.
• Face ID, Touch ID and fingerprint: the optional app lock uses your device's built-in authentication. Your biometric data never leaves the device's secure hardware and is never shared with us.
• Backups, PDF reports and CSV exports are created only when you ask. You decide where they are saved or sent (for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email), and that service's own privacy policy then applies.
• Cloud backup (optional, Khazna Pro): if you turn it on, Khazna encrypts a copy of your vault on your device with a backup password only you know, and saves it to your own iCloud Drive (iPhone) or to Khazna's private folder in your own Google Drive (Android). The encryption happens before anything leaves your device, the password never leaves it, and we never receive the backup or the password, so neither we nor Apple or Google can read it. If you forget the password, the backup can't be opened. You can turn cloud backup off and delete the backup in Khazna's settings.
• Your phone's own backups: if iCloud Backup (iPhone) or Google's Android backup is turned on, your phone may include Khazna's data in that backup, under your own account, as it does for your other apps. We can't access those backups, and you can turn them off in your phone's settings.

Crash reports

If Khazna crashes, it sends an anonymous crash report to Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains technical details of the error, your device model, operating system and app version, and a random installation ID. It never contains your items, photos, receipts, values or notes. Purchases

Khazna Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which handle all payments. We never see your card or payment details. To check whether your Pro purchase is active (including renewals, refunds and restores on a new device), Khazna uses RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID that isn't linked to your name, your purchase receipts and history, basic device information (such as operating system, app version and store country) and your IP address. What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• No sale or rental of personal information.
• No analytics on how you use the app or what's in your vault.

Your choices and deleting data

You can edit or delete any item in the app at any time. Uninstalling Khazna removes everything stored by the app on that device, so create a backup first if you want to keep your inventory. To ask RevenueCat to delete purchase records linked to your app user ID, email us at the address below.

Children

Khazna isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and to object to processing. Because your inventory never reaches us, these mostly concern the purchase records described above. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
